Through the SoMA Capacity Building Initiative NCCLF is offering financial management and “real estate readiness” technical assistance services, as well as workshops to nonprofit organizations located in the South of Market (SoMA) neighborhood.

Financial professionals have a lot on their plate – producing timely and accurate financial reports for staff, board, and funders; monitoring cash flow; developing budgets; paying bills; collecting revenue; processing payroll; preparing for the auditor… Whew!
This workshop teaches strategies for SMART (Systematic, Measurable, Accurate, Reliable and Timely) financial management. Topics include an overview of financial concepts and terminology, financial statements, cash flow monitoring, budget development, key financial indicators, audit preparation and internal controls. This workshop is best for Executive Directors, CFO’s, and Financial Managers/Senior Accountants.
